This article is intended for administrators wishing to upload files to StorMagic for analysis, such as log files, screenshots etc.
Information
In engaging with StorMagic Technical Services, logs files will typically be requested to speed troubleshooting different environments leveraging StorMagic software.
These can be uploaded to:
https://link.stormagic.com/upload

If uploading large files over poor WAN links connection drops may be experienced.
It is therefore recommended to compress these, breaking them into smaller file chunks.
This can be done with many tools like WinRAR or 7-zip with example instructions below:
Right click on the file you want to split and select 7-Zip --> Add to archiveā¦

From the Add to Archive window, edit the Archive name (by default saved to the same folder). Ensure the Archive format is Zip and Compression level is Normal. If you want to split the compress files into several small files then set Split to volumes, bytes to file size you want (e.g. 10MB).

Wait for the zip files to be created

Once complete a list of files will be display in the configured folder with the suffix .zip or .001, .002 etc.
