SvHCI ISO or RAW Disk img Upload

This article is intended for administrators wishing to upload a guest OS installer ISO, or a converted RAW disk .img file, to an SvHCI node.

Scenario

This document will detail the upload of an ISO image file into SvHCI via the webGUI.

A converted VMDK/VHD to a RAW disk img can also be uploaded per the below:

First browse to an SvHCI node management IP address or hostname, and select Virtual Machine from the left hand menu.

Select Upload Disk Image

Select Choose File and browse to the ISO to upload.

Ensure to select the correct storage pool on each node.

Select Upload and observe the upload take place

On completion browse to a different page, and attach this ISO to a virtual machine (VM).
