This article is intended for administrators wishing to leverage StorMagic SvSAN, to provide resilient synchronously mirrored, cached and encrypted storage, alongside and HPE StoreOnce to provide file storage, compression, de-duplication and replication technologies.

Ensure the permissions are set correctly:

Pull the Orchestrator OVA:
Select Backup and Recovery
Select Download
and deploy:
Select the host to deploy the Orchestrator to
Select the storage for the Orchestrator VM VMDK
Select the networks for the Orchestrator to connect to.
Set a static IP address
Set Default Gateway and DNS details
Review the Summary
Review the Summary
Power on
browse to the orchestrator IP set during the deployment, confirming network access:
Set how the VM will get the correct time:
Copy the Activation code
From your Greenlake console select Activate, enter the pasted code and Activate
The setup will now show completed:
The Orchestrator will now dislay in the Greenlake console
This may then be selected and managed:
Storeonce
It is also possible to leverage Storeonce, with an SvSAN provided storgae disk per the below:

Add a Storeonce node to your Greenlake backup as a Service environment.
Copy the Storeonce Serial
In the Greenlake console select + or Register:
Enter the Storeonce details and select Register
Date Protection Gateway
Next we need to push a Protection Store Gateway
Select + to add a Protection Store Gateway (PSG)
This will open the setup wizard
If not already present at the vCenter
Proceed through the wizard
Select the environment size, to appropriately size the Protection Store Gateway
In our small example:
Either configure:
1. Storeonce backup store
or
2. VMFS backup store
Set the static IP of the Protetcion Store Gateway
After reviewing the summary complete the wizard to see the Protection Store Gateway created in the environment:
Create the Protection Policies:
Confirm backups are running:
Run a restore:
